Founded at UCCS in 2008, STEM Education Outreach became part of the Pre-Collegiate Success and Support Center in 2016. This program offers a series of STEM workshops and opportunities for Pre-Collegiate students in grades 7-12, aiming to inspire and engage them in various STEM activities, careers, and academic pathways.

Code Quest

Type: Pre-Collegiate High School Students

Recruiting up to 6 students to meet once a week on Saturday afternoons for 3 hours to learn Python and prepare for the spring competition.

Recruiting up to 6 students to meet once a week after school for 3 hours (dinner will be provided) starting in October and ending in March with the competition.

Summer Engineering Career exploration program – takes place in June for 4 weeks.  Recruitment of 20 rising 10th-grade students (current 9th grade) takes place in March-May.
