Alan is the Program Manager for the Pre-Collegiate Middle School Program. He started his journey to this position by serving for 23 years in the U.S Army. After retiring from the military, Alan went into education and served about 15 years as an elementary and middle school teacher and an English language development teacher. Being a first-generation college graduate, Alan is passionate about mentoring and teaching students as they pursue their post-secondary goals. In his free time, Alan enjoys being outdoors hiking, camping, and skiing with his family.
