Anthony Trujillo, M.A.

Biography:
Anthony Trujillo is the current Academic Supports Program Director as well as the Interim Executive Director for the Pre-Collegiate Support and Success Center at UCCS. His roll focuses on data collection and coordination between community and campus partners as well as overseeing curriculum design and planning. Originally a student in the program, he has been involved with Pre-Collegiate since 2000 in different roles from student, to student advisor, to facilitator/contractor, to professional staff member. Originally from Pueblo, CO, Anthony moved to Colorado Springs in 2004 to pursue a BA in Sports Health and Wellness and graduated in 2008. He worked as a case manager for a non-profit company working to promote job access for adults with developmental disabilities and volunteered for Pre-Collegiate facilitating Saturday Academies and assisting with the Summer Academic Institute. In 2012 he was hired by the program as the Recruitment and Student Enrollment Specialist where he decided to pursue his M.A. in Leadership with Concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education graduating in 2017. In his free time, he is kept busy with his two sons, 2 and 4, and his wife’s small business. He enjoys all outdoor activities that come with living in the state of Colorado.
