Natassia is a current graduate of Pueblo Community College. She received her associates in health information technology and is currently working towards her bachelor's in health information management. Natassia is a first generation, non-traditional student. She is currently President of MEChA (Movimeinto Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) as well as a member of El Movimiento Sigue (The Movement Continues). During her time at Pueblo Community College Natassia worked as an administrative assistant to the Health Department, eventually being offered a position as a 1st year peer mentor through ESCALA (Title V Optica Grant). In this position she found her calling (helping students find their nitch) and enjoyed assisting 1st year college students navigating through college (financial aid, resources, scholarships, tutoring and one-on-one meetings). Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and attending multiple sporting events her children take part in.
